Usage:

Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol, also known as Tetrahydro-2-furanmethanol, is an important raw material of organic solvant and fine chemicals. It’s a kind of good flux solvant in electronic chemicals and flux industry, a good solvant for resin, coating and grease. It can be used for making dihydrofuran, tetrahydrofuran,lysine and long-effective Vitamin B1. It can also be used for making aminoplastics, antifreeze, herbicid, insecticide, plasticizer, etc. In dyeing and printing industry, it’s used for

lubricant, and dispersing agent. For making fatty acid, and tallol oil, THFA is used for decolorizer and deordorant.

 

Preparation method: Made by furfuryl alcohol hydrogenation.
