Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the company and its subsidiaries provide sodium products, peroxygens and fluorides, as well as an assortment of imported products such as precipitated calcium carbonate, polyglycerols, caprolactones and epichlorohydrin, to the North American marketplace. Markets range from adhesives and sealants, agriculture, automotive, consumer and environmental, to food and beverage, glass, metals and mining, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, semiconductor and textiles.

Solvay Chemicals and its affiliates ship product from seven North American plant sites and a number of strategically located distribution terminals. Our hydrogen peroxide and sodium percarbonate plants are located in Deer Park, Texas and Longview, Washington, and our sodium bicarbonate is produced in Parachute, Colorado. Green River, Wyoming is home to our soda ash and sulfite production facility and our trona facilities. Solvay Fluorides LLC, our wholly owned subsidiary, produces organic and inorganic fluorides at Catoosa, Oklahoma and Alorton, Illinois. Solvay Fluor in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, manufactures ammonium bifluoride and anhydrous hydrofluoric acid. We also offer the North American market many imported products from our plants around the world.
