Uses

Acrylic acid is mainly used to make acrylic resins, coatings and paints, and can also be used in other organic synthesis. It is an important chemical raw material; in addition, it can also be used as a raw material for adhesives, coatings, and resins.

Fire-fighting measures

Fire fighting method: Fire fighters must wear gas masks and put out the fire in the upwind direction from a safe distance. Spray the escaping liquid with water to dilute it into a non-flammable mixture, and use water spray to protect firefighters.

Extinguishing agent: water mist, alcohol-resistant foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide.

Emergency treatment

Skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing immediately, rinse with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes, and seek medical attention

Eye contact: immediately lift the eyelid, rinse thoroughly with a large amount of running water or normal saline for at least 15 minutes, and seek medical attention

Inhalation: quickly leave the scene to a place with fresh air. Keep the airway open. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately and seek medical attention

Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water, drink milk or egg white, seek medical attention

Packaging, storage, transportation

Packed in plastic drums, 200kg/drum, the product is usually added with polymerization inhibitor and stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 5℃. Keep the container sealed, the humidity in the warehouse should not exceed 85%, do not contact with air, avoid mixed storage, and do not store in large quantities or for a long time.
