Benzyl Acetate is used as a composition of perfumery (floral, fruity; reminiscent of jasmine) and flavoring (reminiscent of apple and pear). It could be used as solvent in plastics, resins, oils, polishes and inks etc. Benzyl Acetate is used as a solvent to replace Isophorone for cellulose acetate and nitrate, and as a component of printing inks and varnish removers.Benzyl acetate is used as a flavoring agent in foods, as a fragrance in soaps and perfumes
