Introduction:
The product is made from highly pure cotton-cellulose by reaction of etherification under alkaline conditions with the whole process proceding under GMP conditions and automatic monitoring. It contains no organs of animals, fat and other bioactive constituents.

Physical properties:
Characters: white powder, odorless, tasteless and non - toxic
Solubility: soluble in cold water forming transparent viscous solution. Because of containing a certain amount of hydrophobic groups, it is soluble in some organic solvents and mixed solvent of water and organic matter.

Surface activity:
Its aqueous solution is surface - active and it possesses functions of protective colloid, emulsifier and dispersant.

Applications:
This product is widely used in building operation, building materials, dispersive coatings and wallpaper paste, polymerization additive, paint remover, leather, ink and papermaking relatively as thickener, adhesive, water retaining agent, film - forming agent excipient etc. For example, it is used as adhesive, thickener and water retaining agent in building materials and as film forming agent and thickener in paint industry.
