Ercros is world sales leader of fosfomycin, with a 71% market share. This product, which was entirely developed within the company, is manufactured at the production facilities in Aranjuez (Madrid).

Fosfomycin is a virtually non-toxic, wide spectrum antibiotic specifically used for combatting hospital infections and infections of the urinary and genital tracts. The company is also carrying out studies regarding its application in veterinary medicine.
