Zhejiang Huayi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (here after refer to ZHP) is a Chinese-Spanish joint venture. It is a Jinhua municipal Hi-technology Enterprise and Demonstraing Enterprise of Innovation. ZHP is a company of very close relationship with Huadong Pharmaceutical Group, as well as an important member of Esteve Group in Asia.
Huadong Pharmaceutical Group is one of the 15 enterprises that are stressedly supported by the zhejiang provincial government and it is also listed in the rank of the top 520 enterprises by China State Economic and Trade Commission. It owns one public company at present.
Esteve Quimica S.A is the key company of Esteve Group. The latter is one of the biggest pharmaceutical groups in Spain and it has made a remarkable contribution to the health and happiness of the people in Spain and other countries in the world since its establishment in 1929.
The registered capital of ZHP is USD 3,000,000, the same as the investment of first project. It employs about 200 personnel, among which about 40 percent graduated from universities or colleges. ZHP occupies a land of 73,000 square meters in Yinan Industrial Zone and has set up a new pharmaceutical and chemical factory there with an initial reaction capacity of 165 cubical meters CBM.
Adopting advanced technology and scientific management methods of two parties, especially of the foreign part, the joint venture has formed a union of professional team for the development, production and commercialization of fine chemical products, advanced intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry. The present products of the joint venture are Ciprofloxacin, Omeprazole, Clarithromycin, Pioglitazone HCl and the relative intermediates and etc. Among which, one of our products has been assessed as the key new product on the national level.
