Cha ngxing Zhongshan Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd. was founded in July, 1992. It is the appointed insecticide and pesticide manufacturer of the China economy & trade committee. The products include triazine type herbicide, sanitary insecticide aerosol, and sanitary insecticide synergist. The ametryn and octachloro dipropyl ether are considered hi-tech products in Zhejiang province. The terbuthylazine, terbutryn and ametryn were named as the 2001 & 2002 national important new products.We are the leading triazine
type herbicide manufacturer in China. We produce 15,000 tons of triazine type herbicide every year. We are the largest octachloro dipropyl ether manufacturer in China; the annual output is 5,000 tons. Our products have been exported to Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia. We have received ISO9002 quality system certification. In 2003, we will receive ISO14000 environmental certification. We are a AAA credit level company of China Agricultural Bank and a hi-tech company of Zhejiang Province.
We sell 5 hundred million yuan of products every year. About 62% are herbicides, 10% are insecticides, 15% are synergists, sanitary insecticides count for 8%, and all others constitute 5%. Over 56% of our products are exported to foreign countries. South America receives 38%, 32% are exported to Southeast Asia. Nearly 21% are exported to the EU and the USA. Africa occupies 9%. China receives 44%. In China, the Northeast three provinces make up 22%, Guangxi 25%, Yunnan and Guangdong occupy 16%, Henan and Shandong occupy 19%, and other provinces are 18%.
We have 486 employees, 246 of whom are technicians. Our fine chemical research institute and technical research & development centre has a good relationship with Zhejiang Industrial University & Anhui Chemical Research Institute. We have a strong technical force & development capacity.
