Since then, our business has evolved from the provision of fee-for-service genomic research to encompass Complete Genomic Solutions including Bioinformatics and BioChip-Technology in innovative combinations (IGS) to meet the existing and emerging needs of customers throughout the broader life science industry. During this transformation, VBC-GENOMICS has filed and implemented seven PCT/USA patents (May 2003) in the field of RNA/DNA- Diagnostics and in both areas of BioChip-Technology, Genomics and Proteomics.

Based on our IP in Genomics, SNP-Chips (FemSensor-Core / AndroSensor / FemSensor-Pregnancy) detecting clinical relevant genetic variations are currently under final development or already launched and marketed (FemSensor-Core) by our subsidiary GENOSENSE Diagnostics GmbH, founded in July 2001.
