  Glacial acetic acid is a
  colorless liquid with pungent
  smell, melting point 16.6 ℃,
  boiling point of 117.87 ℃,
  density 1.0492g/cm3. Of pure
  acetic acid at 16.6 ℃ below can
  be combined into ice-like solid.
  Glacial acetic acid soluble in
  water and many organic solvents.
  Glacial acetic acid has a strong
  corrosive, and its aqueous
  solution with weak acid nature of
  matter sorted out a number of
  active metals, alkali oxides,
  alkali reaction such as acetate.
  Some, such as acetate, manganese
  acetate, aluminum acetate can be
  used as mordant dyeing industry.
