  The instrument is designed and made as per T0625 in the Industry Standard JTJ052 Specification and Test Methods for Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering, and ASTM D4402. It has a very wide range of functions. First of all, it is suitable to determine apparent viscosity of highway asphalt at a temperature from 45 ℃ to 200 ℃ as per Brookfield Viscometer Rotation Methods. And then, it can be used to determine construction temperature for bituminous mixture as per viscosity-temperature curve. At last also it can be used to determine viscosity of hot melt adhesive, oil grease, paraffin and high polymer.
