  Flocculantion:Can flocculate drilling fluid cutting and clay.
  Lubrication:The product will adhere to the surface of metal or clay particles and form a liquid film,changing solid surface friction into liquid surface friction,so as to lubricate the bits and drilling tools to reduce the mud's friction coefficient and bring down mine accideng rate.
  Plugging effect:Affected by ions of AL+,Fe+,Ca+,cross-linking reaction could occur.And part of the high molecular compound will be transferred from linear type into body type.It is soluble in water,which adheres to the wall and close up the stratum gap and prevent the leakage of drilling fluid.
  Filtration reducing effect:The higher the product's hydrolysis degree is,the more hydration groups are there on its molecular chain and the better hydration effect it will be.And it will change from flocculant into filtration reducer.
  In drilling fluid,the product can form a net frame space with clay particles.It's effectiv viscosity drops along with the increase of shear thinning rate.It's a shear thinning effect
