  Calcium formate, Ca(HCOO)₂, is the calcium salt of formic acid, HCOOH. It is also known as food additive E238 in food industry. The mineral form is very rare and called formicaite. It is known from a few boron deposits. It may be produced synthetically by reacting calcium oxide or calcium hydroxide with formic acid.

   Usage: Mainly used as the fast coagulant, lubricant of the concrete, flue-gas desulfurization, nitrogen oxides in power plant.

  Transportation and storage: Pay attention to rain, sun, acid and oxidizing substances during the transportation. Use no hook, prohibit rough handling. Should be stored in dry and ventilated warehouse, pay attention to water, damp and away from acid and oxidizing substances. The shelf life is two years since the production date.

  Packing: This product is packed with plastic woven bag lined with PEbag film, the inside bag and the outside bag must be fastened. The net weight is 25kg/bag, or according to the customers' requirements.
