Plant morphology:
Belongs to evergreen tree, with aromatic adhesive resin, odd tree pinnate and oblong leaflets. Having aroma after being broken .The plant have white flowers in spring, complex racemes , the flowers are divided into bisexual flowers and male flowers. The drupe is green color, appears yellow after maturity, with the shape of oval and fusiform, having a s fusiform hard nucleus.
Origin: Native in coastal areas of the eastern Mediterranean basin ( near the South-East Europe , West Asia and North Africa coastal areas ) , as well as the northern part of Iran's Caspian coast .
