  Property: Odorless, bitter taste. Melting point 227-229 Centigrade. Soluble in water, methanol, ethanol and glycerol, slightly soluble in chloroform, ethyl ether; insoluble in acetone. More stable under acid conditions, in alkaline conditions, easy decomposition failure.
  Usage: The product is anthelmintic. Levamisole activity about two times as much as racemates, toxicity and side effects is low. Levamisole can make Ascaris muscle paralysis excreted with the feces. Mainly used for anti Ascaris and hookworm.
