  The formula is Mg (OH) 2. The appearance is white powder, non-toxic, tasteless, non-corrosive. Divide into two kinds. Natural and synthetic natural called: fibrous brucite, the tensile strength of 892-892 MPa. Another kind of synthetic fibrous magnesium hydroxide purity of its much higher than natural. But in the decomposition temperature, strength and bulk density are smaller than natural. This product is a functional material of short fiber. It is flame retardant materials, non-toxic, can inhibit smoke, and the thermal decomposition temperature is higher than aluminum hydroxide, wtihout producing the problem such as air bubble when processing.
