    1.Characteristic
    As a type of white crystal, acrylamide, shorted as AM , molecular formula  CH2CHCONH2, is easily dissolved in water, carbinol, ethanol or propyl alcohol, but only slightly in ethyl acetate and chloroform, and slightly soluble in benzene. There are two active centers in its molecule, so it's reactive to sub-acidity and alkalescence.
    2.Application
    The acrylamide is mainly used for the production of water-soluble high polymers ,which are widely applied in different industries, such as, mining running ,coal washing, paper, textile, sewage treatment, metallurgy, sugar production, construction, pharmacy and agriculture, etc.

    Acrylamide is a kind of unstable substance. Damp, heat storage should be avoided. Under the conditions of ordinary temperature, it  should be stored not more than 6 months.
