  Mono Sodium Phosphate(MSP), is colorless or white crystallized powder, destiny is 2.04,metlting point is 60degree. It becomes NaH2PO4·H2O below 100degree, and then heating continually, it change to be NaH2PO4. It forms sodium pyrophosphate between 190-210degree, and is decomposed into sodium metaphosphate between 280-300degree. It easily absorb moisture and could be in caking in the humid air. It dissolves in water, not in alcohol. Its solubility is 12.14% at 25degree, solution is acid, PH value is 4.1-4.7 in 1% solution

  1. As supplement phosphorus additives in seafood feeds.
  2. As Ameliorant in food lines, it can strongly complex metal ions, increase PH value and improve ionic strength in food, and then make their water-holding capacity better. According native rules, it can be added into Condensed milk with maximum quantity of 0.5g/kg.
  3. It is buffer and softening, used in making SHMP and TSPP. It has reached Molecular biology level as a kind of component making Gel electrophoresis and gel buffer. It also used in denaturing gel containing formaldehyde, and make or improve the White Medium in the cultivation of haploid.
