  SMG-7 is an anionic guar modified from guar gum, designed to apply in fracturing fluid in the recovery of oil and gas. SMG-7 is easily soluble in cold temperature environments. Furthermore, SMG-7 polymers exhibit a good thermal stability and can be cross-linked with a number of cross-linkers. As a stimulation fluid, SMG-7 has good thermal stability and can be cross-linked with a number of transitional metal ions. Also it is alcohol tolerant while it is kind of sensitive to salts.
