  The component of pattern agent CAB is cellulose acetate butyrate which is a butyryl content high, lower molecular weight cellulose esters. When prepared powder coatings, CAB was added and extruded in the same time, by adjusting the viscosity and the surface tension of powder coatings in the molten state, it provide wrinkles (orange line), hammertone and other type texture. It can be used for epoxy, epoxy/polyester, pure polyester powder coating system.

  2. Product Properties
  Production process is simple, the primary molded, wrinkled texture has good
  reproducibility.
  Formulations added less, clear texture.
  By adjusting the CAB dosage and formulation composition, we can be obtained

  3. Dosage
  Directly adding powder coatings and mixing extrusion together. The dosage is 0.05%-0.5% of the formula total amount. With the pattern agent increasing, the three-dimension sense of film orange lines decreasing, and gradually the appearance turned into flat. With the pattern agent decreasing, the three-dimension sense of film orange lines increasing. when reducing to a certain extent, the film is easy to show the bottom. Therefore, please accord to the appearance of the coatings to select dosage.
  In addition, the amount and variety of filler, extruder mixing effect and other factors have a certain effect on wrinkle texture. Generally, with the amount of filler increasing, wrinkle texture becoming smaller, but three-dimensional sense enhanced.
