  GENERAL DESCRIPTION
  SOC-120 is a high-temperature Organophilic Clay treated by organic amine, it is a
  versatile drilling fluids conditioner that increases viscosity, gel strength and emulsification
  stability.
  SOC-120 can also be used to control fluid loss, enhance the quality of filter cake as
  well as improve wellbore stability. Besides, comparing with aromatic derivative oil soluble
  polymers, SOC-120 has a better environment acceptable property, which is quite proper
  for building the environmental friendly synthetic-based drilling fluids system.
  
  APPLICATIONS AND ADVANTAGES
  SOC-120 is an effective viscosifier to increase the viscosity and gel strength
  without lowering the oil-water ratio.
  SOC-120 is environment acceptable for building the synthetic-based drilling fluids.
  Pilot tests should be done prior to mixing SOC-120 with different kinds emulsifiers.
  Provides gel strengths and viscosity for the suspension of weight materials.
  
  We note that a small amount of water (0.1-0.2% by weight of total formula) added to
  all-oil muds further speeds the gelation process and optimizes organoclay use.
  
  Since it is an easy dispersing organoclay in diesel, mineral oil, poly, linear and isomerized
  alpha olefins, and modified vegetable oil contained base system, and less work will be
  required to incorporate it into the drilling fluid, and to build initial viscosity.

  USAGE
  The recommended dosage is 1.0%-3.0% (10 to 30 kg/m3) of total circulation mud volume. Treatment concentration will vary depending on the type of mud system, solids content and oil-water ratio.
  
  While building the new mud system, slowly add SOC-120 into base oil with effectively shearing and mixing by mixing pump, agitators and mud guns at the same time.
  Avoid mixing rapidly.
  A mask and goggles should be worn to prevent inhalation of dust and contact with
  the eyes. Fresh air ventilation should be provided in the mixing area.
  
  PACKAGING AND STORAGE
  25kg multi-wall, paper sacks.Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Follow safe warehousing practices regarding, palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and/or stacking.
