  Property: Vancomycin is a glycopeptide antibiotic, vancomycin hydrochloride, at room temperature for white or white crystalline powder, its mechanism of action is with high affinity to the alanyl alanine sensitive bacterial cell wall peptidoglycan precursors at the end of the block polymer, composed of peptidoglycan synthesis of bacterial cell wall, resulting in killing bacteria defect of cell wall.
  Usage:
  1. pairs of strong bactericidal effect of gram positive bacteria, has strong antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, etc.;
  2. on the anaerobic streptococci, Clostridium difficile, anthrax bacillus, actinomyces, Diphtheria Bacillus, gonococcus, Streptococcus viridans, Streptococcus bovis, Enterococcus faecalis, also has certain antibacterial effect.
  3. for most gram negative bacteria, Mycobacterium, Rickettsia, chlamydia or fungi are invalid.
  Clinically applied to treatment by Meticillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus and other bacteria infection: septicemia, endocarditis, arthritis, osteomyelitis, burns, trauma and operation of superficial infection, pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema, peritonitis, meningitis, pseudomembranous colitis, skin and soft tissue infection etc.. Penicillin allergy of enterococcal endocarditis, Corynebacterium (diphtheroid Bacillus) drug of first choice for treatment of endocarditis.
