Properties: colorless crystal; decomposed at 500oC above; easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, aqueous solution is acidic; pH=4.5.
Use: It is mainly used for the manufacture of lithopone and other zinc salts; as raw material for viscose and vinylon fiber; used for electroplating, mordants; as trace element fertilizers etc.
