NATURE AND APPEARANCE: White or grayish yellow crystal/powder, soluble in water.
APPLICATION: A ideal collector with better selectivity for flotation of Cu, Pb, Zn, Sb and other metal sulfides, and its dosage be less than xanthates and dithiophosphates; Showing the better floatation results than xanthates and dithiophosphates in the flotation of various polymetallic sulfides; Also it is used in refining of metallurgical processes and as a promoter in rubber industry.
