Melamine(2,4,6-Triamine-1,3,5-triazine)is a fine, nontoxictic and odorless crystalline powder used in the manufacture of thousands of product worldwide. As a triazine compound, it can be reacted with formaldehyde and other chemical to form products that are durable, chemical-resistant, and water-resistant, heat resistant, as well as having many other special qualities which are applicable to adhesisves, fire retardants, vinyl floor tile, plastic laminates, concrete superplasticizer, coating, paper, polyurethane foam, rubber, platics, molding compounds,amino crosslinkers and textile application. In resin form, melamine can be used in dinnerware and beverage cans.
