Properties:
Chromium(Ⅲ)nitrate,nonahydrate is purple red crystal. It breaks down if heated to 125.5℃. Melting point is 60℃. Easily soluble in water, soluble in ethyl alcohol, acetone and inorganic acids.
Uses:
In preparing chrome-containing catalysts, as mordant in printing and dyeing industry, and etc.
