DESCRIPTION

Crystal magnesium Nitrate as a desiccant is an inorganic nitrate salt of magnesium，a crystalline solid white in colour.Magnesium nitrate hexahydrate is a hygroscopic salt which in air quickly turns into the hexahydrate form.Magnesium Nitrate Hexahydrate is primarily used as a dehydrating agent or a desiccant, in the preparation of nitric acid.
Application

Crysatl magnesium Nitrate as a desiccant is primarily used as a dehydrating agent or a desiccant, in the preparation of nitric acid.

The process of concentrating nitric acid by magnesium nitrate method is to add magnesium nitrate as extraction agent into nitric acid aqueous solution to form a ternary mixture of Mg(N03) -HNO3-H2O. When this mixture is distilled, the water vapor partial pressure on the mixed liquid surface is greatly reduced, and the content of nitric acid in the steam is greatly increased, so as to achieve the concentration of dilute nitric acid.
