Chemical Property:Melamine is alkalescent,will produce m-borate after reacting with kinds of acid.In strong acid or strong base,melamine will be hydrolyzed . Amido is replaced by hydroxy , becoming Ammeline , Ammelide and Cyanuric acid . Melamine react with aldehydes , become compound . It is the most important one ,that Melamine react with formalin .
