AS with all preservatives, it is not advised to dissolve Biosol in the fat phase when protecting emulspns. It is advised to make a premix of ipmp in a suitable solvent (eg Propylene G lycol, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol or Benzyl Alcohol). The premix can be added to the final product (after the emulsification process), or alternatively, by dissolving the Biosol premix in the water phase before the emulsification process. Biosol can withstand normal emulsification procedures(eg at 80℃). Using either way, please ensure proper mixing and make sure the product is well dissolved in the product, also after prolonged storage of the final product. Suitability in the presence of ethoxylated or cationic compounds should be confirmed. It is strongly advised to use additional preservatives to maximize the efficacy. Relatively high PHs(above ca. 9should be avoided.
