• Product description :

  1. It exhibits antimicrobial properties by effectively inhibiting the growth of microorganisms (such as bacteria and molds), thereby extending the shelf life of food products. This is achieved through disruption of microbial metabolic processes and destruction of their cell membrane structures. 2. It functions as a reducing agent that reacts with oxygen to form sulfite ions, thereby reducing oxygen availability. This antioxidative effect prevents oxidative degradation of lipids and vitamins in food, consequently prolonging its preservation period. 3. It may also serve as a bleaching agent in food processing. By reducing pigment molecules, it decolorizes or lightens their appearance, thereby enhancing the visual quality and overall attributes of food products.
