  N-(benzyloxycarbonyl)ethanolamine (CAS#77987-49-6) is an intermediate, white crystalline powder, purity up to 99%, used in the preparation of propargyl adenine as an A2A adenosine receptor agonist with effects on hepatic gluconeogenesis. It is also used in the synthesis of functionalized N-arylaminoethylamides as non-covalent inhibitors of cathepsin S.
