  Zinc Salicylate (CAS#16283-36-6) is a bactericidal preservative and astringent, white crystalline powder，purity up to 99%, with antimicrobial properties commonly used in cosmetics to help prevent the growth of harmful microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi, and added to disinfectants, hand sanitizers, and other cleansing solutions to kill bacteria and viruses that may be present on surfaces. Also, it can be used to improve hair color deposition and hair color permanence in artificially dyed hair.
