  【Physiochemical Property】

  Sec-butyl acetate, also named 2-butanol acetate, belongs to one of four butyl acetate isomers. (Other three are n-butyl acetate, isobutyl acetate and tert-butyl acetate.) It is a colorless, flammable liquid with a fruity odor and it can dissolve many sorts of resin and organic matters.

  Melting point: -98.9℃ , boiling point: 112.3℃, flash point: 19℃ , density: relative density (water=1)0.86.

  Normally, the property of sec-butyl acetate is similar with other butyl acetate isomers, but its boiling point is higher and the evaporating speed is faster.
