Description:

Thermoreactive Para-tert-butylpheonol (PTBP) formaldehyde adhesive resin 2402 is a phenol-formaldehyde resin that is mainly used in adhesives for bonding leather, rubber-to-rubber, or rubber-to-metal surfaces. It is ideally suited for this because it has very good binding qualities and has a particular tackiness for the surfaces of leather and rubber for these reasons, PTBP formaldehyde is principally used in glued leather goods such as handbags, belts and watchstraps. The 2402 resin has excellent compatibility with polychloroprene rubber and increase the resistance to weather, oil and chemicals, especially in favor of initial adhesion retention time, phase reliability, heat resistance and condensation.
