Product description:
TDDS is a vulcanizing crosslinker specially designed for halogenated synthetic rubber such as chlorinated polyethylene rubber (CM) and chlorohydrin rubber (ECO) chloroprene rubber (CR) chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber (CSR). TDDS is a derivative of 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole ester. Rubber vulcanized by TDDS has the advantages of flame retardant, high temperature resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, small compression permanent deformation and high tear strength. The curing speed of TDDS vulcanizate is much faster than that of NA222 vulcanizate. The physical properties of TDDS vulcanizate are similar to those of peroxide vulcanizate (tear strength is greater than that of peroxide vulcanizate). That is to say, TDDS vulcanizate has both advantages of thiourea vulcanization system and peroxide vulcanization system, especially its vulcanizate can be Moldless vulcanized and can use cheap aromatics. Hydrocarbon oil is used as plasticizer, while aromatic oil is not used as plasticizer in thiourea vulcanization system and peroxide vulcanization system.
Main uses:
TDDS is a derivative of thiadiazole ester. It can be used as a new vulcanization crosslinker for halogenated polymers such as chlorinated polyethylene rubber (CPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and chlorohydrin rubber (ECO), chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber (CSM), chlorinated rubber, chlorobutadiene rubber (EVA). TDDS is especially suitable for vulcanization and crosslinking of CPE. It is a highly effective and high performance vulcanizing agent for chlorinated polyethylene with NC or BF. CPE is a kind of special synthetic rubber with excellent physical properties, heat resistance, ozone aging resistance and flame retardant. It is mostly used in rubber products such as cables, hoses, tapes, etc. It has a good cost performance ratio and is widely used. Choosing proper curing system is the key to CPE vulcanization. In the application of CPE, proper compression ratio and heat resistance are required. Peroxide is often used as crosslinking agent, but its application range is relatively small and vulcanization shortcomings are more. The new vulcanizing agent TDDS can produce better processing ductility and consume fewer complexes than peroxide. The product vulcanized by TDDS has high properties, and the heat resistance of sulfide is similar to that of peroxide vulcanization.
TDDS vulcanizing agent can be used not only for vulcanizing and crosslinking of rubber-based chlorinated polymer elastomers, but also for crosslinking of thermoplastic elastomers, copolymers and homopolymer systems. It can also play a role in crosslinking of chlorinated rubber and natural rubber rubber rubber rubber rubber rubbers (NBR, SBR, EPDM) blends and is suitable for manufacturing various blends.
Advantages of TDD vulcanization system:
1. TDDS vulcanization system is suitable for any vulcanization methods, such as moulding, continuous vulcanization, tank type, microwave type, etc. The vulcanization process will not be oxidized by air. It is suitable for Moldless vulcanization in vulcanization tank with low vulcanization temperature. Also suitable for injection moulding can be vulcanized in vulcanizer.
2. The curing speed is fast and the positive curing time is short.
3. Safe operation, no pollution in the production process, no irritating odor, no frost, no scorch.
4. The physical properties of vulcanizates are as good as those of peroxide systems, and they are ageing-resistant. Excellent heat resistance, small compression permanent deformation, especially good tear resistance.
5. The product has good appearance, no frost spraying, no burning and no irritating odor.
6. Batch vulcanization of rubber products has little difference and is suitable for large-scale vulcanization.
7. The crosslinking agent TDDS can replace high-priced DOP and other plasticizers with cheap plasticizer system (operating oil).
8. Low consumption, high cost performance.
Product applications:
1. The recommended dosage is 2.0-2.5 TDDS and 1.5 BF (NC) for cable sheath and rubber products such as inner and outer rubber and conveyor belts.
2. A small amount of insoluble sulfur can be used in braided rubber pipes with copper-plated steel wires to improve their vulcanization and adhesion to steel wires.
3. Suitable for high temperature and rapid vulcanization, and also for steam tank type vulcanization: 4 kg/cm2 steam pressure (151 C) vulcanization tank. Suggestion of vulcanization time is 40 minutes.
