It can react with organic material and turn into ester. Di-PE usus\ally consists of a little mono-PE and Tri-PE. So its hydroxyl value is between 38-40. B.Application: Di-PE, as an important fine-chemical intermediate, it is mainly used in coating undustry,polyether, alkyd resin and photosensitive resin film. Its low aliphatic ester is used as PVC Plasticizer in hi-temp insulating material . Its high aliphatic ester is used in aviation lubricant.
